Saint Agnes of Bohemia - Saint of Mercy

Saint Agnes of Bohemia

Daughter of the King of Bohemia, Agnes refused imperial office to follow Saint Clare's ideal of poverty. She founded the first Poor Clare monastery in Prague and a hospital for the poor. A correspondent of Clare of Assisi, she lived with humility and charity, becoming a symbol of spiritual freedom and dedication to the poor.

Saint Angela de la Cruz - Saint of Mercy

Saint Angela of the Cross

A Sevillian worker, Saint Angela founded the Company of the Cross to serve the poorest of the poor. Living in absolute poverty and humility, she dedicated herself to home care for the sick and the education of orphans, becoming a symbol of radical charity and total identification with the suffering Christ.

Blessed Charles the Good

Blessed Charles the Good

Count of Flanders in the 12th century, Charles the Good dedicated his rule to protecting the weak and promoting peace. During famines, he aided thousands of the poor by fighting speculators. Faithful to evangelical justice, he died a martyr, killed in church by those who opposed his reforms for the benefit of the poor.
