Pray with the Pope

The intention prayer of April 2026, on the topic “For priests in crisis".

 

This is the prayer:

 

Lord Jesus,

Bgood Shepherd and companion on the journey,

Today we entrust all the priests to you,

especially those going through times of crisis,

when loneliness weighs,

doubts darken the heart

and tiredness seems stronger than hope.

 

Tu who know their struggles and wounds,

renew in them the certainty of your unconditional love.

Fso that they do not feel like officials or lonely heroes,

but beloved children, humble and precious disciples,

and shepherds supported by the prayers of your people.

 

Pgood father,

teach us as a community to take care of our priests:

to listen to them without judging,

to give thanks without expecting perfection,

to share with them the missione baptismal

to announce the Kingdom with gestures and words,

and to accompany them with closeness and sincere prayer.

Fthat we know how to support those who often support us.

 

SHoly Spirit,

rekindle the joy of the Gospel in our priests.

Conce of their healthy friendships, networks of fraternal support,

a little humor when things don't go as hoped,

and the grace to always rediscover the beauty of their vocation.

Cmay they never lose faith in You,

nor the joy of serving your Church with a humble and generous heart.

Amen.
