OPERA M is the revolution of the Works of Mercy. It is the permanent instrument for developing strong and renewed thinking about the works throughout the world.
It stems from an urgent need deeply felt by spazio + spadoni to rEvolve the concept of a work of mercy as a journey that is always both human and divine at the same time, and therefore always spiritual as well as practical (or corporal). The rediscovery, or rather, the true rEvolution of the works must be rediscovered within this synthesis between the spiritual dimension and practical action. Material action must always be permeated by the spirit.
OPERA M is based on five actions that define its method: INVOKE, call upon the Spirit LISTEN, be silent so that you can open yourself to listening ENCOUNTER, be among the people LET US ACT, act for the works LET US FLOOD, bring everyone to the Works of Mercy Spiritual Works of Mercy Counsel the doubtful Instruct the ignorant Admonish sinners Comfort the afflicted Forgive offenses Bear patiently those who do us ill Pray to God for the living and the dead Corporal Works of Mercy Feed the hungry Give drink to the thirsty Clothe the naked Shelter pilgrims Visit the sick Visit prisoners Bury the dead

Joint Effort for Future Uganda contacts spazio + spadoni to request a collaboration
May – October | Project development
From May to October, discussions continue to determine what can feasibly be implemented, develop a business plan showing that the project can generate revenue for the Association, and define the commitment to OPERA M
4 November | Project budget sent
Joint Effort sends the budget for the woodworking project it would like to implement. From that point onward, several exchanges take place to refine the estimate.
11-24 November | OPERA M
Joint Effort, together with members of spazio + spadoni, organizes a series of meetings with the local population to explain the importance of knowing and living the Works of Mercy.

Joint Effort lives and spreads knowledge of the Works of Mercy
4 March | Pastoral plan sent
Joint Effort sends spazio + spadoni the pastoral plan for spreading the Works of Mercy
14 April | Production of the OPERA M plaque and scarves
The young people enrolled in the woodworking course make the OPERA M plaque from wood, and 300 spazio + spadoni scarves are also sewn for distribution to the residents.
24 April | First funding disbursed
The funding represents the first tranche granted for the woodworking project
