Da spazio + spadoni a letter addressed to the poor, to the victims of war and to all the fragile people of the world: mercy can open up paths to new life
Dear crucified brothers,
You who bear the burden of war, hunger, loneliness, and injustice; you who are forgotten on the peripheries of the world, in refugee camps, in hospitals, in prisons both internal and external; you whom history calls "last" but who in God's eyes are first.
We would like to extend these Easter greetings to you.
We know that life often seems like a Good Friday that never endsThere are nights when pain is stronger than hope, days when one feels invisible, rejected, voiceless. The little ones in the story know silence, abandonment, and the fear of tomorrow well.
Yet right there, where everything seems lost, the Gospel announces something unexpected: the tomb does not remain closed forever.
Christ's Resurrection isn't just a thing of the past. It's a promise for you, today. God doesn't look at suffering from afar: He lives in it, passes through it, transforms it. Every tear gathered, every wound welcomed, every gesture of love received is already there. a sign of Easter that begins.
Le works of mercy They are the concrete way this resurrection takes shape. When someone reaches out to you, listens to you without judgment, shares bread, defends your dignity, restores your trust, something great happens: life begins to blossom againIt's not just material help, it's rebirth. It's the stone of the tomb slowly being rolled away.
But we also want to tell you this: you are not only the recipients of the mercyOften, you are the ones who teach it to the world. In your resilience, in your ability to love despite everything, in the hope you cherish even in pain, you become a light for all. The little ones in history reveal the truest face of humanity.
Easter means that no cross is useless and no life is lostEven when the world seems dominated by violence and indifference, love continues to generate a future. Mercy creates bonds, lifts up those who fall, and opens new paths.
To you, crucified of our time, spazio + spadoni it means: you are not aloneEvery act of kindness born in the world is already a resurrection that reaches you. Let us continue together to believe that life can be reborn, that dignity can be restored, that hope can begin again.
Because Easter is true when someone finally comes back to life.
