Congo.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-medium\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"300\" height=\"235\" src=\"https:\/\/spaziospadoni.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/FOTO-300x235.png\" alt=\"Congregazione Petites Soeurs de l\u2019Evangelisation PSE\" class=\"wp-image-47380\" srcset=\"https:\/\/spaziospadoni.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/FOTO-300x235.png 300w, https:\/\/spaziospadoni.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/FOTO.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They were founded by <strong>HisExcellency Bishop Gustave OLOMBE MusilamuAtelumbu<\/strong>, the second Bishop of Wamba, who died on 17\/2\/2011, after His Excellency Bishop Joseph Wittebols. This foundation was confirmed by the decree of the Episcopal Conference of Kisangani dated 12\/08\/1975. The oldest pioneers of the Little Sisters of Evangelisation took their first religious vows on 10\/08\/1980 at Saint Joseph\u2019s Cathedral in Wamba.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As a diocesan Congregation, the sisters make themselves available from their initial formation to work first in the Diocese of Wamba and then outside it according to the needs of the local and universal Church. The Congregation currently has <strong>52 professed sisters<\/strong>, including <strong>8 university students.<\/strong>  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dioceses in which the PSE work\u202f: <strong>Wamba, Isiro-Niangara, Kisangani, Kinshasa<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-charism\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Charism<\/strong> <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Charism can be summarized in these words: \u201c<strong>Live and proclaim the Gospel<\/strong>\u201d. In the Congregation, they are all catechists, regardless of the basic schooling or academic training each one has received.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In their communities, they express their charism through various pastoral initiatives such as parish ministry, the first field of apostolate through sacramental and school catechesis, Catholic Action Movements (MAC), the animation of Living Ecclesial Communities (CEV), and the teaching of religion in all the schools where they are present. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They also undertake social works such as education, healthcare, rehabilitation centres for young people who have dropped out of school, and literacy programmes for rural mothers and others. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From the time of their formation, they devote themselves to caring for the poor and to daily work for self-support, such as sewing, making rosaries, agriculture, etc. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They run a healthcare facility, the \u00abCentre Hospitalier Sainte Anne Marie d\u2019Ibambi\u00bb, currently the only one with a permanent doctor, and they are establishing their own schools.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Little Sisters of Evangelisation (PSE) are a Congregation of Diocesan Right of Wamba, in the Ecclesiastical Province of Kisangani, in the new administrative Province of Haut-U\u00e9l\u00e9, located in the northeast of DR.
