It is a Congregation of\u00a0<strong>Diocesan Right<\/strong>\u00a0and currently has\u00a0<strong>55 sisters<\/strong>\u00a0divided among five communities in\u00a0<strong>Rwanda<\/strong>\u00a0and one in\u00a0<strong>Italy<\/strong>\u00a0in the Diocese of Lucca.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"259\" height=\"194\" src=\"https:\/\/spaziospadoni.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/Logo-Suore-Dimora-della-carita.jpg\" alt=\"Congregation of the Sisters Dwelling of Charity\" class=\"wp-image-48344\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Of these sisters, 10 are completing their studies at secondary schools and university.&nbsp;It is a charismatic Congregation open to everyone, regardless of social status, and welcomes all states of life (married and single). The&nbsp;<strong>General House<\/strong>&nbsp;is located in Butare.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"charism%c2%a0\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Charism<\/strong>\u00a0<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The ideal of the community is to live religious life among the population by putting into practice the fundamental objective of the Ingoro y\u2019Urukundo community (Dwelling of Charity):\u00a0<strong>to praise God, receive his love and radiate it throughout the world<\/strong>. This ideal is embodied in the following motto:\u00a0<strong>Pray and work with simplicity, joy and praise; share all this with others<\/strong>. It is inspired by Romans 5:5: \u201cGod\u2019s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us\u201d.\u00a0It should be noted that the community is subject to diocesan and state law, which justifies the local Bishop\u2019s supervision of any undertaking of the Congregation.\u00a0The sisters are engaged in many activities, including the health centre, education and teaching in nursery and secondary schools, and training young women in practical activities such as sewing.
