Antonella Attanasio is an educational specialist and Vice-President of the Ipad Mediterranean cooperative. She has gained extensive experience in early childhood education services, adult education and social inclusion. She works for the Caritas Diocesana di Ugento–Santa Maria di Leuca (Lecce), where she is part of a team that develops projects focusing on intercultural education and support for people serving non-custodial sentences through personalised educational programmes. She currently works in the Intercultural Mediation Service within educational settings of the Ambito Sociale Territoriale di Gagliano del Capo (LE), promoting an educational approach based on dialogue between cultures and recognition of diversity as a driver of community development. She is a member of the advocacy team of the Delegazione Regionale Caritas Puglia and the Tavolo Permanente di Promozione Umana, contributing to the development of inclusive policies and initiatives promoting social justice and human dignity.
