spazio + spadoni
The movement
spazio + spadoni is a Catholic-inspired movement born from the vision and personal journey of Luigi Spadoni. After a lifetime dedicated to innovation in medical rescue and emergency services, Luigi chose to transform his entrepreneurial experience into a mission of charity, founding a project that combines mercy and missionary spirit.
The movement was created to build deep connections between the world of volunteering and the women’s religious congregations engaged in social and humanitarian projects in Italy and around the world. Drawing on the lessons received from his parents about the importance of responsibility and “doing good as a conscious choice”, the founder created an ecosystem in which every action has spiritual significance.
HIC SUM
Missionary projects
The missionary project HIC SUM (from the Latin expression “Here I am”) represents the operational heart of spazio + spadoni and aims to activate 72 universal projects around the world through concrete bridges of solidarity. The model provides for welcoming missionary sisters to Italy for technical and human formation that will enable them, once back in their home countries, to establish new associations dedicated to the Works of Mercy.
