Chiara Prontera is 26 years old and lives in Morciano, a small town near Santa Maria di Leuca, in the province of Lecce. In 2024, she graduated in Political Science, International Relations and Human Rights from the University of Padua, and shortly afterwards she left for Belgrade with the White Helmets project promoted by Caritas Italiana. There, she carried out her service at the Obrenovac refugee camp. She is currently undertaking an internship with Caritas in the Diocese of Ugento–Santa Maria di Leuca.
