He holds a degree in Nuclear Physics from UNIPV. He has two children, Giorgio and Teresa, and a little dog named Ettore. For more than ten years, he conducted research into the “mathematical theory of complexity” and mathematical models. He also worked for several years at STMicroelectronics. He is the author of scientific articles on applied mathematics and taught mathematics as an adjunct lecturer at UNICT for several years. Finally, for more than twenty years, he served as Scientific Director of the Consorzio Universitario Mediterraneo Orientale di Noto.
