Date and place of birth: 1963, Bergamo. A graduate in Education from the University of Verona, he served as Managing Director and President of the Consorzio Nazionale della Cooperazione Sociale, Italy’s largest network of social enterprises. He is the founder and served as Chief Executive Officer and President of Welfare Italia Impresa Sociale, an organisation dedicated to developing services for families and inclusive social well-being. A consultant and trainer by education and vocation, he has taught at several Italian universities. He served as Chief Executive Officer of “On Srl Impresa Sociale” and as Chair of Vita’s “Advisory Board”. He is currently President of the participatory foundation “Communia”, la Rete dei Beni Comuni, and President of “è-one abitare generativo”. He is a member of the Scientific Committee of the Archivio della Generatività Sociale research group. He teaches at the Scuola di Economia Civile, where he contributes his experience of social enterprises, both in developing innovative ideas and promoting change and in field-testing new models of action.
