Born in 1962 and originally from Como, she began travelling back and forth to Africa in 1985. A consecrated member of the Ordo Virginum since 2007, she served as a fidei donum missionary of the Diocese of Reggio Emilia in Bukavu, Democratic Republic of the Congo.
