Originally from Bogliasco, in the province of Genoa, Sister Attilia Bario has been a missionary for 50 years and belongs to the Missionary Sisters of Our Lady of Apostles. She lives in northern Ivory Coast, where she works in youth ministry, particularly in grassroots education for peace and non-violence. At the heart of her vocation is the ability to meet and get to know people, welcoming the unique way in which each person expresses themselves and communicates.
