Although the sisters initially considered opening a small bakery, as the months passed and after a more in-depth study of the local area, they decided to focus on palm-oil production. The activity funded by spazio + spadoni has begun production and sales and is currently delivering the expected results

Sister Marie Jacqueline of the Sœurs Servantes de Jésus is a Congolese religious sister who arrived in Italy in May 2022 to carry out the HIC SUM project at Misericordia di Villanova Monteleone, in Sardinia. She shared her training period at the Misericordia with another Congolese sister from a different Congregation. Before starting the project, Sister Marie Jacqueline had begun studying Italian, which made it easier for her to integrate into the community.

In November 2022, she returned to Kisangani, in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The sisters have been in that archdiocese since 1979 and serve in education and healthcare. They carry out apostolate, especially in the prison, and work in the fields.
