From the outset, the Congregation expressed its desire to establish a small bakery as a social enterprise in the province of Ibambi, where the sisters have a community. Construction work has begun and is progressing, and while awaiting its completion, Sister Clemence continues to work as a teacher at the nursery school next to the community.
Misericordia di Villanova Monteleone, in Sardinia, hosted the HIC SUM project and Sister Clemence from May to November 2022. The training experience in Italy was shared with another religious sister from a different Congregation, also from the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
During her months at the Misericordia, Sister Clemence attended courses on bread-making, the charism of volunteering, the Works of Mercy and first aid.
