OPERA M is the revolution of the works of mercy. It is the permanent instrument for developing a strong and renewed vision of the works in the world.
It stems from an urgent need strongly felt by spazio + spadoni to rEvolutionize the concept of a work of mercy as a journey that is always both human and divine at the same time, and therefore always spiritual as well as practical (or corporal). The rediscovery, indeed, the true rEvolution of the works must be rediscovered within this synthesis between the spiritual aspect and practical action. Material action must always be permeated by the spirit.
OPERA M is based on five actions that define its method: INVOKE, call upon the Spirit LISTEN, be silent to open yourself to listening MEET, be among the people LET US ACT, act for the works LET US FLOOD, bring everyone to the Works of Mercy Spiritual Works of Mercy Counsel the doubtful Instruct the ignorant Admonish sinners Comfort the afflicted Forgive offenses Bear patiently those who wrong us Pray to God for the living and the dead Corporal Works of Mercy Feed the hungry Give drink to the thirsty Clothe the naked Shelter pilgrims Visit the sick Visit prisoners Bury the dead

May | Meeting in Rome
In May 2025, Sister Félicité, who was in Rome for the UISG Assembly's proceedings, meets spazio + spadoni. The Mother has the opportunity to speak with Luigi Spadoni, and from that day the collaboration begins, entirely centered on the Movement's commitment to spreading the Works of Mercy – OPERA M.
9 June | ReEvolution of the Works of Mercy
Mother Félicité states that the Congregation intends to commit itself to raising awareness of the reEvolution of the Works of Mercy promoted by spazio + spadoni
8 August | Project submission
The Congregation submits a project for the cutting and sewing activity's support
19 September | Ambassador of the Works of Mercy
During an online meeting, Sister Félicité announces that the sister chosen to be Ambassador of the Works of Mercy is Sister Baudouine
14 October | Meeting in Rome
Sister Félicité, who is in Rome for the Jubilee, meets Luigi Spadoni, and together they lay the concrete foundations for developing the collaboration regarding both OPERA M and the social enterprise's development
11 December | Project reassessment
After the discussion with Luigi, the Congregation chooses to change the project and replace the previously submitted cutting and sewing project with one concerning poultry farming's development
2026
14 January | Diocesan OPERA M Meeting
The meeting's organization was handled by Father Corneille Bolenga, rector of the Cathedral, for the leaders of the small local communities in the four pastoral sectors of the city of Basankusu. Training on the Works of Mercy (corporal and spiritual) was offered to more than 100 people. During the event's proceedings, the spazio + spadoni scarf was distributed. The participants showed great interest in the training.
2 March | Congregation in OPERA M
Sister Félicité sends a list of sisters who, in each of their communities, will spread the Works of Mercy. List of the Consuls.
25 March | Forum Committee
Sister Félicité presents the committee that will organize the Works of Mercy Forum in the Diocese of Basankusu
12 April | Production of scarves
Scarves were made for distribution to the members of spazio + spadoni
13 May | Novice training
Sister Baudouine Ekomba, Ambassador of Mercy, provides training to the novices on the reEvolution of the Works of Mercy. They will soon leave for their placements in the various communities, where they will share the training they received.
