The Parish Community of Saint Eugene, comprising the parishes of Badia di Cantignano, Coselli, Guamo, Verciano, and Vorno, is a well-established point of reference within the Diocese of Lucca and has a long history of commitment and consolidation over the years.

What distinguishes this community is its great vitality, expressed through active participation in volunteering and pastoral work and involving people of all ages and social groups through a wide range of initiatives. These range from the catechetical education of young people to supporting and engaging older people, as well as promoting summer educational initiatives and supporting families. The Parish Community of Saint Eugene is committed to nurturing a living and dynamic faith rooted in solidarity and social engagement.
This diocesan community is also actively involved in a network of relationships with various secular associations and local institutions, working together to promote interreligious dialogue, social peace, and justice.
With an open and inclusive approach, the Community joyfully welcomes those who wish to share its journey of faith and service in order to face, with a different spirit, an age too often marked by individualism, indifference, and loneliness.
