The project conceived by Sister Anjeline and her Congregation takes the form of a small pig farm, a resource not only for the religious community, which could earn some income from selling the animals, but also for local people and especially for the poor, who would find in this activity a source of sustenance. The investment provided by spazio + spadoni made it possible to launch this activity.

Sister Anjeline is a very young sister of the Adorer Missionary Sisters of the Poor Congregation in Moshi, Tanzania. She arrived in Italy on 22 March 2022, and her training lasted five months at the Misericordia di Roma San Romano, where she deepened her knowledge of first-aid and bread-making techniques and was able to experience and learn the charism of volunteering.

On 18 August of the same year, she returned to Tanzania, specifically to Moshi, where she is developing the social enterprise. Moshi is a town located at the foot of Kilimanjaro, near the border with Kenya. There, the number of orphans and vulnerable children continues to grow, and the country’s poverty level is growing with them.
